Joel White Executive Officer Joel White oversees the daily operations of the Association and works with the Board of Directors to implement their mission and vision. In his two years with the SHBA, the Association strengthened their special events, public affairs program and has seen membership growth of over 25%. He previously worked for the Building Industry Association of Clark County, WA where he coordinated their strategic planning efforts and public affairs efforts. He began his career working in the Government Affairs Department at the Spokane Home Builders Association. Joel holds a Masters degree in Public Affairs from Washington State University and a Bachelors degree in Environmental Science from the University of Idaho. He lives in the Spokane Valley with his wife Amy, daughter Robin and son Jake. |

Bill Taylor Bill began his involvement with home building associations in Washington as a member in 1996, and joined the staff of the Central Washington HBA as the Member Services Director in 2002. Bill and his family came to Spokane in 2006 to join the SHBA. Bill was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, and was educated at Johns Hopkins University. Bill, his wife Karen, and their two children move to Washington State in 1989, and now reside in Spokane Valley. Bill enjoys spending time with his family, especially watching, and supporting U-High Football and Wrestling. |

Katherine Morgan, CGP Katherine has played an active role in Association events since 2007. Having graduated from Gonzaga University with a degree in Marketing, she is eager to play a role in helping the members in this Association gain increased marketability in Spokane. She handles the Association's major events including the Fall Festival of Homes, the Premier Home Improvement Show, the Annual Golf Tournament, the return of the Tour of Remodeled Homes and the exciting return of the Showcase of "Green" Homes. Having grown up in the Northwest, Katherine enjoys the local arts & traveling. |

Kim Waseca-Love, CGA, CGP Education & Apprenticeship Director Kim brings over 13 years experience in apprenticeship and workforce training, working closely with the K-12 and Higher Education systems. In addition to coordinating professional development courses for SHBA members and skills training for the Department of Corrections along with SHBA apprentices, Kim is very active on numerous advisory boards and committees in the construction industry. She has also received her Certified Graduate Associate designation through the BIAW and the NAHB. An avid gardener, western art collector and fisherman, Kim, her husband, and her dog "Buddy Love" makes their home in south Spokane . |

Gerardette Sager Gerardette was co-owner in a water treatment company & became an active member with SHBA in 1992 for 11 years. In 2003, after the company was sold, she was hired as Member Relations Manager. Already aware of the varied interests & benefits members look for, this was a good fit for her position. She enjoys hiking & travel & spends a lot of time with her Son, Daughter & grandchildren. |

Toby Broemmeling, CGP Toby adds his talents in business and public relations to an already talented staff at SHBA. A 2004 graduate of Whitworth College with a B.A. in International Business, Economics, and Business Management, he also has many years of exprerience working in the building industry to better serve the members of the assoication. He coordinates much of the communations within the membership and from the assocation to the general public. Also, coordinating the Built Green Council® and the Remodelers Council®, he is passionate about building smarter, and helping to promote and protect the remodeling industry. Toby lives in Spokane with wife Marissa and son Wyatt. He enjoys the outdoors and mentoring youth in the South Spokane area, Young Life program. |

Suzanne Jennings Born and raised in Missoula, Montana, Suzanne relocated to Spokane in 1986 and joined the SHBA staff in 1995 after working for a social service facility for nine years. In her capacity as Bookkeeper, Suzanne performs all accounting functions for the Association, the Apprenticeship and the Community Builders Trust PAC, as well as maintaining the SHBA membership database and reporting systems. Suzanne and her husband, Kelly, a Deputy Chief for Spokane County Fire Protection District #3, reside in the Cheney/Four Lakes area. Suzanne enjoys spending time with her three Egyptian Mau cats and large extended family in the Spokane area as well as working in her yard, which proves to be a continual 'work in progress'. |

Beverly Voight Beverly Voight joined the SHBA in June of 1999 coming from a background in the mortgage/title/banking industry. She directs and provides customer service to the members of the Spokane Home Builders Association and the general public. She also assists and provides staff support for meetings and special events. Beverly and her husband reside in the Spokane Valley and have two children and five grandchildren. They enjoy painting, cooking and spending vacation and holidays with their family.
