What is the CBT-PAC?
The Community Builders Trust PAC is the political action committee of the SHBA. Contributions to the PAC are used to help support candidates for local and state office who support homeownership and the building industry. These funds allow us to maintain and grow political and policy gains that some environmental and growth management groups want to take away from us.
Why You Need to Support the CBT-PAC
The anti-growth and NIMBY activists have been successful in recent elections, and are gearing up again in 2009. These extremists will do anything to stop growth from occurring. SHBA members need to prepare for a long and aggressive campaign season to return pro-business, pro-jobs leaders to office – leaders who understand that growth and construction is the economic foundation of our economy.
