What is the CBT-PAC?

The Community Builders Trust PAC is the political action committee of the SHBA.  Contributions to the PAC are used to help support candidates for local and state office who support homeownership and the building industry. These funds allow us to maintain and grow political and policy gains that some environmental and growth management groups want to take away from us.

Where Do The CBT-PAC Funds Go?

The funds raised from this events like the Builders Hall of Fame and from donations allow us to participate in the several key races in this fall’s municipal elections (click to view). We encourage all of our members to connect with the Association in this effort which will allow us to pool our resources and help elect candidates who support the local building industry. If all of our members were to engage their families, employees, friends, and business affliates, our industry can make a huge impact on these races. Doing so will ensure the continued rejuvenation of our industry and the jobs and wealth that it generates..

Join the CBT-PAC Today!

All SHBA members are invited to attend the Community Builders PAC meetings which are held the second Tuesday of the month at 1:00 p.m. in the SHBA boardroom. All donors who give at least $100 will be asked to participate in candidate interviews and will bring an endorsement recommendation to the SHBA Board of Directors.
