Spokane Home Builders Association Awards Region’s Best Builders and Remodelers

Annual Fall Festival of Homes and Building Excellence Awards Celebrate Local Builders

The Spokane Home Builders Association (SHBA) is proud to recognize the best of the best in new home construction and the challenging field of remodeling. SHBA members are award-winning professionals who take pride in building quality homes featuring exceptional craftsmanship, outstanding design, and concern for sustainability as well as the latest technology and energy-saving devices.

 

“We’re honored to partner with construction leaders who set the standards for our industry,” said Joel White, executive officer of Spokane Home Builders Association. 

 

In September and October, SHBA hosted the 18th Annual Fall Festival of Homes over two weekends. The free, self-guided home tour featured 16 new homes built by 11 of Spokane’s finest builders. The gorgeous homes featured the latest trends in architecture, energy efficiency, and interior design and festival-goers had the opportunity to vote for their favorite homes.

 

The winners of the 2022 Fall Festival of Homes People’s Choice Awards are:

• Greenstone, Homes Priced Under $615,000 category
• BIG BLUE, Homes Priced $700,000 - $826,995 category
• Kyle Marsh Construction, Homes Priced Over $928,000 category

 

The Building Excellence Awards is organized by SHBA’s Remodelers Council and celebrate outstanding projects in remodeling that showcase quality craftsmanship in a variety of categories and price ranges. The Remodelers Council is a fellowship of remodelers and associates who share their acquired industry knowledge and business practices, promote the general welfare of their membership, and sustain participation in SHBA through mentorship, education, and service. 

 

The 2022 Building Excellence Award winners are:

• 509 Design, Kitchen Priced Over $80,000 category
• Ourada Designs, Creative Living Spaces Under $20,000 category
• Foothills Landscaping and Irrigation, Landscaping Over $50,000 category
• Kelly Construction LLC, Specialty Projects Under $50,000 category

 

“Building Excellence Award entries were judged on a number of criteria, including aesthetics, innovative design solutions, workmanship, use of appropriate building materials, and how the contractor dealt with budget considerations and obstacles that occurred during the building process,” said Tyrell Monette, chair of the Remodelers Council. “We’re proud to showcase these talented remodelers in the Spokane area who deserve to be recognized for their exceptional work.”
